Recommended setup
- Stock up on food at the campfire near the entrance
- Keep Cobra's AP bar full — she does the heavy lifting
- Equip the Bronze Armor chest drop on Cobra, not Dave
Attack patterns
- Dive and resurface — vanishes off-screen for a turn, then hits the whole party hard; switch everyone to Defense the moment it disappears.
- Standard single- and multi-target hits between dives.
Strategy
- Clear the three temple floors first: solve the stone-cube panel puzzles and the Sun Crest / Moon Crest rotation puzzles on B-2.
- Use multi-target moves (Dave's Big Swing, Cobra's Dynamite) to clear bat/frog/scorpion packs and conserve HP before the boss.
- Burn the self-healing Vampire Bats with Cobra's Incendiary Shot so they can't life-steal.
- In the boss fight, keep Cobra attacking every turn and drop the whole party to Defense whenever the Goby dives.
