Recommended setup
- Party roles: Dave = healer/secondary DPS, Cobra = main DPS, Muna = buffs/debuffs/cleanse
- Immune to all status effects โ bring damage and defense, not Poison/Burn/Paralysis
Attack patterns
- Bite (single and whole-party versions) โ can inflict Bleed even on a successful block.
- Dive and resurface โ vanishes a turn then hits everyone hard; switch the whole party to Defense.
- Self-heal โ rare, expect it around 50% HP; push through it with steady damage.
Strategy
- Cobra attacks every turn (Sniper Rifle / timed basic) โ your main damage source.
- Muna cycles Cheer (party attack buff) and Bad Words (lowers the boss's defense), cleanses Bleed with Vaccine, and restores AP on spare turns.
- Dave keeps the party healthy (party-wide heal at higher skill levels) and chips in Body Slam damage.
- Drop everyone to Defense whenever the Fringehead dives; prioritize cleansing your most-damaged member since Muna can only clear one Bleed per turn.
- Don't waste turns on status moves โ every Paralysis/Poison/Burn attempt (even Incendiary Sniper Rifle) is blocked.
